First off and most importantly, they sound great in every sense, from the deep sonics to the sophisticated aesthetics. Next, they’re packed, diverse, and well organized, or shall we say, strategized. David’s first title, Exotic Tribal House, contains twenty-seven distinct instrument categories and kits for seven different platforms. Its follow-up, Ibiza House, features twenty-five sets of chromatic samples for mapping in your favorite software instruments. Here on Ultra House, the focus is back to basics: loops (295, eight instrument categories including isolated drums and percussion), one shots (321, thirteen categories), and MIDI files (28 total, beats and instruments). Ultra House tops off at over a gig of content—a solid set!
