    Today is a special day at Soundtrack Loops as we celebrate the 40th birthday of a truly exceptional talent—musician, composer, and producer, Marcus “Da Fingaz” Manderson. We are thrilled to officially welcome Da Fingaz to our network of composers and producers, recognizing him as one of our top creators. His contributions have not only enriched our catalog but have also elevated the standard of production in the industry.

    Marcus Manderson’s journey in music began humbly in the church, where he honed his skills playing hundreds of songs with the church band. From these roots, he has grown into a prolific composer, crafting hundreds of songs and trailers for media, and creating loop packs that have become invaluable resources here at Soundtrack Loops.

    Known for his soulful style, Da Fingaz has a unique ability to connect with audiences on a deep emotional level. However, his versatility doesn’t stop there. He has also mastered the art of crafting heart-pumping, adrenaline-filled orchestral trailer music that leaves listeners on the edge of their seats. His work has created custom music experiences for some of the world’s top brands and theme parks, including Disneyland and Walt Disney World, adding his magical touch to these iconic destinations.

    One of his most notable achievements has been his role in organizing the largest sync panel featuring African Americans, a milestone that has helped to usher in a paradigm shift in the industry.     Most recently, Da Fingaz’s accomplishments have been recognized by the Recording Academy, as he proudly joins the GRAMMYs Class of 2024. This prestigious acknowledgment is a fitting tribute to his remarkable career and his unwavering dedication to his craft.

    Soundtrack Loops represents the combined expertise of two seasoned entrepreneurs and producers, boasting over 30 years of experience in the royalty-free sample industry. Founded by Matthew Yost in 2006 and Jason Donnelly, the founder of Peace Love Productions (established in 2001), this collaboration aims to bring simplicity and proficiency to the digital music landscape.

    Matthew and Jason first collaborated in 1998 while holding audio positions at Sonic Foundry Inc. (now Magix). Over the years, they have produced, formatted, created, and marketed hundreds of loop packs for some of the world’s largest loop companies, software DAWs, and well-known apps. Their impressive client list includes Audiokit, Native Instruments, 1010 Music, Muse Group, NAMM, Acoustica Mixcraft, PreSonus, Peace Love Productions, and Antares.

    Together, Matthew and Jason embody the essence of the royalty-free loop industry, continually transforming it with their vast experience and innovative approaches.
